Today, ADC Regional Director Imad Hamad and Reuniting the Children of Abraham Jewish Executive Director Brenda Rosenberg met to discuss shared issues of concern, regarding their communities.  The main focus of this meeting was to reopen dialogue between members of the Arab American Community and members of the Jewish American Community, so as to understand the perspectives, thoughts and feelings of one another.  The initiative to meet was made in an effort to rise above opposing efforts to discontinue communication with members of the “other” side. 

It is in this spirit of constructive dialogue and in honor of the Muslim Holy Month of Ramadan and the upcoming Jewish High Holy Days that we wish for lasting peace for all and we ask our communities to join us in building bridges of constructive dialogue and engagement.
