A sensation of pride and appreciation filled the heart of Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca as he left the doors of Access California Services (ACS).  Sherriff Baca and Sergeant Mike Abdeen paid a visit to the facility of ACS last Thursday August 14, 2008. The visit consisted of a tour around the office of ACS, an introduction of each staff member, and a brief meeting to give the general overview of ACS's services and needs. The visit ended with a small luncheon in which the staff was able to communicate their appreciation towards the Sheriff for his visit and support, and express his concerns about current topics.
Sherriff Lee Baca is LA County's 30th sheriff and is now serving his third term after being re-elected once again in 2006. He is very familiar with the Arab-American and Muslim communities and is looking forward to collaborating with ACS and supporting the agency and its efforts. ACS greatly extends its appreciation to the Sherriff Baca and Sergeant Abdeen for their efforts and positive outlook for ACS.
