The chief of staff of the U.S. Army visited the Arab American National Museum last month. General George W. Casey, Jr. toured the Museum during the June 18 visit and gave a speech entitled "Meeting the Challenges of Persistent Conflict in the 21st Century." Dearborn Mayor John B. O'Reilly Jr. reports that the Museum made a big impression on Gen. Casey, who expressed a desire to have more military personnel exposed to the Museum and its vast resources relating to Arab Americans and Arab culture. At right, Casey (L) accepts the key to the city from Mayor O'Reilly at the AANM.
