To Whom it May Concern:
I am please to announce, that under the auspices of US Chaam Media Productions,Sawa Charity, the Arab American Writer’s Union, and the Muslim Cultural Association,a SERIES OF HIGH-PROFILE CULTURAL EVENTS across the United States to promote and facilitate CULTURAL EXCHANGE between the Middle East and the United States through the partnership of well-known cultural institutions and charities with popular Syrian artists.
Dates: September 30 and October 15, 2008.
These special events will involve visits from talented Syrian artists including… Abas Al Nouri, Taj Heder, Naeem Al-Sheikh and Nizar Abouhajar.
Events are scheduled in each of the following states… Michigan, California and Washington D.C.
In the State of Michigan:
Participants in this reception will include the Arab Writer’s Union, the American and Lebanese Club and the Association of Islamic Culture. Intended to honor artists, this celebration will include cultural events as well as media coverage on ART through the program, “90 minutes from America.”
In the State of California:
Sponsored by the Sawa Charity, which fights for the rights of deaf children in Syria along with several other charitable organizations in the United States including a cultural activity sponsored by the Federation of Arab Journalists.
In Washington D.C:
This reception will honor our guest artists and will include a visit to some well-known cultural landmarks and tourism in this center of US Government.
Join us, as we endeavor to highlight the culture, refined arts and civilization of our two great nations through cultural exchange. Help us also to encourage Arab American youth to participate and see the advantages in the blending of great civilizations.
