ADC Michigan Participates in National Conference on DNA Databanks and Race
On June 19-20, 2008, ADC Michigan Advisory Board Chairman, Atty. Nabih Ayad, participated in a national conference on DNA databanks and race, at New York University.  The conference was held by the Council for Responsible Genetics, an organization that fosters public debate about the social, ethical and environmental implications of genetic technologies.  Ayad joined scholars, scientists, racial justice and civil liberties advocates from across the country to engage in discussion on issues related to race, ancestry, and DNA testing.
