The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) is proud to present a performance by international singer and songwriter Chantal Chamandy at this year’s National Convention, “Securing the Principles of Liberty,” held June 13-15 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington, DC.  This event is exclusive to the purchase of full Convention packages;  the performance is 90-minutes long entitled, "Beladi."  Individual tickets will not be sold for this event.

The multilingual artist developed her unique musical style from different genres of music from across the world. As her own lyrical writer, some of her biggest hits have topped the charts both in Canada and the United Kingdom. From her early start at the age of 14, Chamandy’s career has brought her a long way. Chamandy had the opportunity and prestige to perform her single "Beladi" in Egypt at the feet of The Great Sphinx. Chamandy hopes to showcase the importance of culture and music to bring awareness and acceptance of different beliefs from around the world; Chamandy said: “Music can be very powerful…I hope to play a positive role by promoting peace through culture."
