Hollywood producer Stephen Brown, executive producer of blockbuster movies such as The Fugitive, Seven, and Devil's Advocate, has teamed up with the Bahraini group Vahid Associates Brand Futurists.
Vahid Mehrinfar, executive principal and chief brand futurist of the firm, announced that he and Brown will set up a specialized consultancy firm to bring global, cutting edge creative thinking to the region, in partnership with leading Hollywood talent.
Revealing why he was drawn to Bahrain, Brown told the magazine Progress Bahrain 2007-2008, “There exists here in Bahrain a sophisticated financial community and the country provides an environment which is highly conducive for launching and managing business opportunities.”
Bahrain Ambassador to the United States Dr. Naser Al Belooshi praised the news, noting, “This partnership agreement demonstrates Bahrain’s versatile appeal in attracting many types of business investment to the region, and it will presents exciting opportunities for the growth of Bahrain’s role in the communications and entertainment industries.”
Mehrinfar added, “It is no longer sufficient for Bahrain to attract big names to elevate its status on the world stage by mere association. Our endeavor is to engage them through both technical and aspirational output for tangible benefits to create compatibility of minds; and this is just the beginning …”
