The American Arab Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce attorney James Allen as our new Chairman of the Board. Jim previously served on the Executive Committee as Second Vice Chairman. Jim has long served as an active member of the Arab American community. In 2000, Jim formed Allen Brothers, Attorneys and Counselors, PLLC with his older brothers, David and John. David left the practice in December, 2003, when Gov. Jennifer Granholm appointed him to the Wayne County Circuit Court bench. The firm currently employs 15 attorneys and represents a variety of clients in a range of matters. In 2004, Jim completed his post graduate studies and received his Master's of Arts in Industrial Relations from Wayne State University.

Since 2006, Nasser Beydoun has been the face the American Arab Chamber of Commerce, serving as its Chairman of the Board. Nasser first joined the Chamber in February 1999 and helped lead the Arab American business community to prominence on a regional, national and international arena. Nasser Beydoun will continue to be active in the organization as he currently serves on the Executive Committee. His impact on the Chamber has been profound and as newly elected Chairman, James Allen indicates, "I am deeply humbled to follow in the footsteps of my dear friend, Nasser Beydoun. Nasser leaves behind a huge imprint from giant shoes I that I will need a lot of help filling. I take comfort in the knowlege that he will always be just a phone call away. The entire community benefited greatly from Nasser's hard work, creativity and his heart". Thank you Nasser for your hard work and dedication!!
