On Monday, April 7th at 7:00 p.m., ADC Members and friends are invited to attend an exclusive advance screening and Q&A session with the stars of the film, The Visitor, at the Landmark Maple Theatre (4135 W. Maple Road) in Bloomfield Hills.  The movie is said to be one of the most culturally significant films for Arab-Americans to date, providing a more positive depiction of Arabs as it explores a common struggle to live the American dream.  

ADC's staff members, Nadia Fadel and Delia Habhab were among the invited guests who viewed the film during a private prescreening on Thursday, April 3,rd at the Palladium Theatre in Birmingham.  “This film accurately identifies a major issue in the lives of many Arab-Americans and the impact that their struggle has on others whose lives they touch,” stated Fadel, Director of Policy & Community Affairs.  “Watching this movie was like watching the lives of many Arab-Americans who come through the doors of ADC,” continued Fadel.

The first 100 people to send an e-mail to: thevisitorforadc@hotmail.com, including your contact information, will receive a confirmation pass good for 2 to attend the exclusive screening and an invitation to meet with the films actors Hiam Abbass and Haaz Sleiman.
