Earlier this week, the AACC held a Corporate Cultural Diversity Training Session for Comcast. Susan Bazzi, Managing Director, presented to the group of technicians.
The American Arab Chamber of Commerce offers Corporate Cultural Diversity Training for businesses and organizations throughout the area. While the Chamber's program covers general Arab culture, language, religion, customs and demographics, it mostly focuses on how this information can form a foundation and means to enhance general access to and for Arab communities and markets. Program participants learn how to turn cultural information into practical tools for marketing, customer service, hiring, accommodating, and training Arab Americans in the workplace and in the community. AACC has recently conducted sessions with Comcast, IKEA, Oakland County, and more. If your organization is interested in participating in a session, please call (313) 945-1700 and visit www.americanarab.com/cultdiv for more information. This program is made possible by a grant from the Comcast Foundation.
