AACC Board Member Ahmad Ezzeddine has been named one of Crain's 2007 Forty Under 40. Ezzeddine is the Associate Vice President of Educational Outreach at Wayne State University in Detroit. For the past 17 years, Crain's has been identifying men and women in the business and nonprofit community who have achieved solid business success before the age of 40. Close to 250 people were nominated for this year's 40 Under 40. Ezzeddine's biggest accomplishment is turning the School of Business Administration's Professional Development Division from a subsidized department with a $500,000 budget deficit in the 1990s to a self-funded income producer for Wayne State each of the last three years. "I congratulate Ahmad on his success and that of Wayne State University. I value his participation on the board of the AACC, and wish him best wishes of success on his future endeavors," said Chairman Nasser Beydoun. Ezzeddine's current goal is to repeat the success of the Professional Development Division on a campus-wide level as vice president for educational outreach, soliciting businesses to make use of WSU's engineering, liberal arts and other faculty.
