ALO Magazine Publisher and President of Unique Image, Inc., Wafa Kanan to be Named Winner of the Prestigious Entrepreneurial Achievement Award.
In a private announcement, it was revealed that Wafa Kanan, publisher of ALO Hayati Magazine and president of Unique Image, Inc. was named the recipient of the 2007 Entrepreneurial Achievement Award gives due recognition to the courage and intelligence of women whose perilous and difficult labors have advanced the cause of human rights in parts of the world where these are most in danger.

"My story is only a representative one of so many says Kanan. "I am so proud to have been selected as the recipient, but for me it only proves that hard word can allow you to build business so we can help those in real need through our multi-cultural, grassroots and charitable efforts. This award is especially rewarding for my team and the people whom I have worked side-by-side with to create a more enlightened future."

Kanan will be presented the award on Friday, September 28th at the organization of American States in Washington D.C. with a reception at 6:00 P.M. with the main program starting 7:00 P.M.
