Monday, 17 September 2007
September 5, 2007 was the launch day for the Middle East Broadcasting Network (MBN TV) programs on Cox Digital Cable channel 478. After MBN TV’s success in serving its Arab American community in North America on Globecast Satellite, in the state of Michigan, 24 hours on Comcast Cable, now MBN will be covering all the local events and major news of the local Arabic Community in Washington, DC area.
Their primary mission is to build political, economic, and social bridges between the Arab American communities in the United States, and the community at large.
For the first time, the active Arab American community working and living in the DC and Northern Virginia areas, will have media to raise its voice and to highlight all the efforts this community and its organizations have made and will make in the future.
MBN TV will be airing its local programs on Cox Digital Cable channel 478 to cover the following areas that embrace more than 250,000 Arab Americans:
Fairfax County, Fairfax City, City of Falls Church, City of Herndon, City of Vienna, and Fredericksburg.
