Dr. Patricia Mihaly Nabti and her brother, Dr. Paul Mihaly, invite you to attend one of two very special benefit recitals in northern California to support the Association for Volunteer Services (AVS), the organization I founded to promote, facilitate, and improve volunteering and community service throughout Lebanon. Proceeds from the recital will support the organization’s Learning to CARE Program to actively engage students in Lebanese schools in volunteering and community service. After a brief introduction to AVS and the Learning to CARE Program, Dr. Mihaly will perform selections by Scarlatti, Beethoven, Chopin and Lecuona, as well as arrangements of Lebanese folk songs. In addition, his wife Joanne (also an accomplished pianist), will join him for duets by Brahms and Gottschalk.
