FOLLOWED BY The Film Class
Two fascinating documentaries set in the Bedouin city of Rahat, in southern Israel. The Film Class explores the black Bedouins’ legacy of slavery through the astonished eyes of the current generation of women. Three Times Divorced follows the harrowing story, still in progress, of a Gaza-born woman locked in the battle of a lifetime for custody of her six children, and locked out of the legal process. Co-presented by Jewish Family and Children's Services of the East Bay, Shalom Bayit and the Arab Film Festival.
